New HEACS report published on the conservation of the ecclesiastical heritage

HEACS has submitted its final Report with recommendations on the long-term conservation of the ecclesiastical heritage in a time of demographic change (PDF file size 237K) to the Scottish Ministers. This was one of four priority issues on which the Scottish Ministers asked HEACS for advice during its second term (2006-2009).

As part of this work HEACS commissioned two research reports, the first on the Extent of the Ecclesiastical Heritage in Scotland (PDF file size 1.4M), and the second on Church-State Relationships in Selected European Countries (PDF file size 472K).
