Mapping Survey of Scotland's Historic and Contemporary Built Environment Infrastructure - Have You Been Contacted?

A mapping survey is currently being undertaken by Jura Consultants to identify non-governmental organisations operating within the built environment sector in Scotland. Covering organisations that work with the historic and contemporary built environment, the survey is seeking information on remit, funding and activities - in particular information on infrastructure activities. The survey has been commissioned by a partnership comprising Historic Scotland, HEACS and the Built Environment Forum Scotland (BEFS). It will seek to:

  • increase understanding of the infrastructure of the historic built environment sector - including capacity for advocacy work, membership services provided (support, training, advice etc), policy development and networking activity;
  • expand understanding of how organisations within the sector are supported and the level of support provided;
  • identify opportunities for partnership working at the strategic level on matters of policy and legislative development; and
  • gain a full picture of the organisations operating within the sector.

If you have any queries regarding this survey or would like to take part - please contact Jo Robertson at BEFS on 0131 556 5353 or email jrobertson@befs.org.uk.
