Mrs Elizabeth Burns CMG OBE (Chair)

Mrs Elizabeth Burns CMG OBE, is former President and Chief Executive Officer of the International Association for Volunteer Effort (IAVE), a body with members from over 90 countries.

She was Chief Executive of Volunteer Development Scotland until 2001, and is a former President of the European Volunteer Centre. She has been a Board member of Community Learning Scotland and of the Learning and Teaching Scotland Advisory Council. She is currently a Board Member of Reach UK, and represents IAVE on the UN DPI NGO Committee.
